Katie & Jeff // Wedding

When I say this couple is amazing I genuinely mean it, they are ahhhhmazing.  I mean, the groom recently donated his kidney to one of the groomsmen (talk about the ultimate groomsman gift) which subsequently started a chain of kidney transplants, so far TWO additional lives have been saved!   Who knows how many will follow!

United in their faith and driven by their love they light up each image.  The groom rocked a handsome blue suit and a well kempt beard and the bride wore a stunning open back dress and confidence that was contagious.  Check out the amazing architecture of the church  that the couple absolutely adored.

See their engagement photos here.

Italian Album

Seriously, this is a beautiful album! This book features a beautifully hand stitched exposed spine and a hand torn edge- need I say more?  Well I will, this book also has custom printed white vellum pages.  Caroline & Chris asked me to take graphic elements used all over their wedding day and incorporate them into this vellum design.  We also added a few pages with meaningful quotes to the Caroline & Chris.  My favorite part of this album is the C&C stamping on the front cover.  So elegant and sophisticated.

Packaging LOVE!

I have spent many hours over the last few months working on how to create an unforgettable experience for each of my wedding couples.  It's so important to me that each couple feel as special as they are to me. I put together a goody box for each couple when they receive their disk of images!

Included are a set of prints from SocialPrintStudio.com. A handwritten thank you note.  Their disk of high resolution images. I filled the box with mustard colored tissue paper and bright green moss.

A good friend of mine from Sew Dayton, named Jesy Anderson, who knows everything about crafting helped me create custom tags & cutout's.  I finished everything off with some hand stamps and custom bird cutout address labels <3  So excited for my first client to receive it!

SoHo Album

In the future weeks I will start featuring some of my favorite wedding album designs.

Far to often these days my couples will leave with a disk of their beautiful wedding images.  I always fear that they will be put in a desk drawer never to been seen again.  Even my own wedding images sat on my computer unedited for several years before seeing the light of day.  Only two years ago did I finally put together a wedding album for my husbands birthday (he loves that kind of touching stuff).  And now it's so lovely to have at my finger tips.  It sits on a book shelf in my living room!  On our wedding anniversary we take it out and reminisce on all the moments inside.  Now I understand the importance of having a physical wedding album to thumb through, whenever I want!
