TRULY MADLY DEEPLY-Fun and vibrant memories of Byra and Tyler tying the knot were made and captured at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, Ohio. With a color palette of bright pink, purple and turquoise blue, this hotel wedding reflected all the great things a picture perfect spring wedding has to offer.
The fun and bright colors of the day (which reminded me of a pair of LA Gear high-tops I had back in the day), was a bit unexpected but truly beautiful. Turquoise radiates peace and tranquility with uplifting energy. It is one of the most brilliant colors, heightening your sense of creativity. The only thing that makes this color even more amazing is its perfect partner, the color pink and its partner in crime purple. I am really in love this color combination!
The bride’s classically stunning lace wedding dress from a small boutique, Georgia's Bridal, in Hillsboro was elegantly subtle allowing her bridal beauty to shine through out her special day. She looked absolutely stunning!
Byra’s and Tyler’s BEST DAY EVER continued after the nuptials into the night with tons of yummy food, dancing and a photo booth with fun props. As photo booths are fast becoming modern wedding must-have this one was handmade by a wedding guests. They’re a great way to entertain family and friends during your reception and they definitely inspire spontaneity and fun. The best part about opting for a wedding photo booth is that everyone will go home with a fabulous keepsake, which will serve as a reminder of your special day. It’s no wonder many couples have chosen to include wedding photo booths in their festivities.

It’s all in the details for this elegant rustic wedding! With hints of plum and cranberry, these two love birds managed to turn an into an elegant, nature inspired venue for their special day, and you’ll be amazed by how it turned out.
For their wedding, Sarah and John planned a romantic, rustic affair at Cox Arboretum in Dayton Ohio. This beautiful 189-acre facility is a special place for visitors to escape among trees, shrubs, specialty gardens, mature forests, and prairies. And makes for great photographs!
The day started with a traditional ceremony held inside the lodge at the venue, in which Sarah and John exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by their families and friends. After saying “I do,” the pair whisked guests off to the Hilton Garden Inn for an unforgettable celebration.
At the reception venue the couple created a romantic oasis by decorating the reception tables with arrangements of white hydrangeas, baby’s breath and warm candlelight and rustic wooden accents and mason jars and vintage style lanterns. The venue was accented with dramatic up lighting that infused the ballroom at the Hilton with a party-ready vibe, gave the evening a fun, festive feel. And the glow sticks and light up sunglasses definitely helped to get the party started!
After a night of dancing that included an epic confetti first dance moment, the guests took home S’more party favors that were absolutely delicious! This yummy treat complemented their popcorn and cupcake/cookie dessert table which left no guest leaving with an empty stomach.

I love a couple who embraces a rainy day. This rustic/vintage backyard wedding at the bride’s parents house is proof that rain on your wedding day is nothing to fear. Also, let’s not forget the years of good luck. Lisa and Rick are way too cool to let a thing like this ruin their day. The outdoor ceremony had to be moved onto the dancefloor of the tented reception area.
This wedding is vintage meets glam with a romantic twist. There is nothing more intimate than having your nuptials at a family member’s house and then using your family heirlooms as wedding décor. Items include small oil borrowed from Groom's parents & books are from Bride's parents. They are some serious DYI moments at this wedding too- Signs through the yard made by Groom and Bride, and Groom made small crates for centerpieces. They also both made the solar lights that hung in the trees outside of the tent.
Lisa looked flawless in a vintage-style lace dress, a birdcage veil, a vintage fur stole and tons of sentimental pieces of jewelry.
As avid dancers, the reception was filled TONS of dancing and a special choreographed dance where the bride had to change into her fancy dancing shoes. The guests and their awesome dancing skills made us feel like we were watching an episode of “Dancing with the Stars” but even better.
When this awesome celebration was all said and done, guests (including us) walked away (thru a sparkler exit) with a wonderful gift from the bride and groom- a bodacious compilation CD. - We listened to it the whole way home and knew that this would not be the end of our relationship with Lisa and Rick- they are just too cool to forget! I adore this couple and have the fondest memories of their big day! This Vintage Rainy Day Wedding was the perfect kickoff to Lisa and Rick’s amazing future together.
Check out Lisa and Rick’s engagement session here with a 1933 Plymouth. I think a vintage or classic car is the best photo prop around! No matter what era the car is from, there is just something romantic about older cars that you can't get with even a modern luxury car.
