Dayna & Gerald Engagement

I met this adorable couple at the Dayton Marriott wedding show!  It was love at first sight for Dayna and I.

Gerald and Dayna are getting married in North Carolina but they wanted to have their engagement photographs taken in Dayton, their home.  We rushed out and did their session on the last non-jacket weather day of the year.

Kelley & Alli Engagement

GIRLS ROCK!  A stunning engagement session featuring an adorable couple and my 2 favorite girls, Kelley and Alli.  The location site of the photo is straight out of a nature-lover’s dream and with passion this couple has- it made for some truly inspiring photos.   Featured on Two Bright Lights Wedding Blog-For Real Equality Weddings.

Their gorgeous and rustic engagement session defiantly sets the tone for their equally amazing rustic outdoor wedding complete with wonderful vintage DIY details.

Not only are they a delightful couple, they are also advocates for the legalization of gay marriage.  Alli is currently working with local Cincinnati groups to help legalize gay marriage in Ohio.  Fingers crossed that it is going to happen very soon!

Jane & Mauricio Engagement

This lovely couple met in Ecuador while Jane was living abroad and fell in love.  They have decided to live their married life in South America, but tie the knot in Jane's home of Cincinnati, Ohio. A few days before the wedding we took off into the wintry Ohio weather that Jane is trying to escape and took some fun photos.  It was extra cold for Mauricio!

Jill & Jay Engagement

When I met Jill and Jay I knew that together we would create epic and flawless images, and have a blast doing it.  I like to think of Jill and Jay as a creative powerhouse couple.  Jill is a photographer from Chicago. (view her work here) Jay is a writer who writes THE WALKING DEAD NOVELS!!! Yes, I know, I’m a super fan!!!  “Fight the Dead, Fear the Living”. Check out his wonderful writing here!

They are a unique and loving couple and are old school rock n roll and wanted their session to evoke their urban and retro vibe.  So we did just that. Images were taken in downtown Cincinnati and include their wedding venue the Redmoor Event House that has an old vintage art décor feel, by the Ohio River, red balloons by the water, and last but not least a Tattoo shop.
