Jill & Jay Wedding

Extremely cool, totally hip and creative couple!!!  Jill is a photographer from Chicago, (yes no pressure, right?). Jay is a writer who writes THE WALKING DEAD NOVELS!!! This was a super unique wedding for an truly amazing couple. It was held at a Cincinnati lounge/club/theater, The Redmoor Event House, which had that art décor 1920’s feel. This Jewish couple used rolls of film for their guest seating escort cards to go with the vintage feel of the event. Of course, Jill wouldn’t wear something off the rack, so she had her dress custom made, which was a black and red lace tea length dress. The trendy groom wore a dapper dark blue suit. They bought each other handsome time pieces as gifts.

In lieu of a cake they opted for a cup cake bar and the guests were able to choose their own cupcake decorations and flavors…SUPER YUMMY!!! Jay plays the harmonica and surprised his bride with a solo performance. The bride’s father used to write music as well, well because it seems this whole family is gorgeous and talented!!! The band learned Jill’s favorite song and surprised her dad with playing it. They also did the traditional Jewish dances where bride and groom are lifted into the air on chairs.  AMAZING WEDDING and AMAZING couple, so its no surprise that this wedding was published on the Offbeat Bride Wedding Blog.  Prepared to be amazed….

Jane & Mauricio Wedding

This adorable multi-cultural budget wedding turned out adorably.  So many guest flew into this event from out of the country.  I heard the best-man came in all the way from the Middle East to be at this wonderful occasion.  There event mostly consisted of American Traditions but at the very end they added a South American masked dance that everyone enjoyed!

Jane & Mauricio Engagement

This lovely couple met in Ecuador while Jane was living abroad and fell in love.  They have decided to live their married life in South America, but tie the knot in Jane's home of Cincinnati, Ohio. A few days before the wedding we took off into the wintry Ohio weather that Jane is trying to escape and took some fun photos.  It was extra cold for Mauricio!

Jill & Jay Engagement

When I met Jill and Jay I knew that together we would create epic and flawless images, and have a blast doing it.  I like to think of Jill and Jay as a creative powerhouse couple.  Jill is a photographer from Chicago. (view her work here) Jay is a writer who writes THE WALKING DEAD NOVELS!!! Yes, I know, I’m a super fan!!!  “Fight the Dead, Fear the Living”. Check out his wonderful writing here!

They are a unique and loving couple and are old school rock n roll and wanted their session to evoke their urban and retro vibe.  So we did just that. Images were taken in downtown Cincinnati and include their wedding venue the Redmoor Event House that has an old vintage art décor feel, by the Ohio River, red balloons by the water, and last but not least a Tattoo shop.
