Hope and Ehud are the epitome of my kind of couple. These free spirits love for sports inspired me to make some Napoleon Dynamite inspired sports shots (they have huge love for tennis and volleyball) and then classic, hit ya in the face pure beautiful loving images. My heart truly flutters when I get to work with such fun, quirky, embrace who you are type of people. Cheers to you, Hope and Ehud.
Family is everything. Whether that's friends who mean as much to you as your mother, or the family-in-law of your spouse. The people who we fill our lives with- encourage our dreams and bring us joy. I'm really excited that the stars aligned to make this session happen. They each work different and challenging schedules that rarely allows them to all be in the same space. Lucky me, that I was asked to capture this special moment in time!
I'm so happy that this little guy was born. His parents were an adorable wedding couple I photographed several years ago. As you might now, that's what I get the most joy out of- photographing my wedding clients children.
They came into the studio a few weeks ago and Cole slept like an angel even though he was almost a month old! I'm so impressed!
I'm starting to learn that one of the biggest joys I can have as a photographer is to see my couples live their lives after their weddings. If they decide to have children, I get to see how their lives are shaped by these new tiny creatures. It's incredibly fulfilling to see how much love two people can generate. Laena & Vail are no exception.
Every time I have had the opportunity to photograph this family we incorporate part of their Hawaiian heritage into the photographs. It is a fantastic way to bring more meaning to images. Their little boy is Ikaika, but I call him Iki! He is a bundle of joy I have never ever seen with the one exception of my own overly happy child.
