When it came time for these college cuties to tie the knot, they wanted to throw one glamorous affair.  Bobbi and Andy live in downtown Cincinnati and love the city life. However, they opted for a venue that sits in the heart of downtown Dayton because it is close to their alma mater; the University of Dayton. This couple actually met at University of Dayton and was married at the Catholic Church on campus called Holy Angels. So with that said the locations for majority of the images were on their old stomping ground/UD campus.   We traveled to some of their favorite spots. For example, photos were taken in the coffee shop were they worked and first met. We even ventured down to the Ghetto (aka UD’s housing neighborhood) and took some iconic pictures in front of their former campus houses, and of course as former UD grads they included the old spray paint signs done on a plain white sheet, which is a tradition that UD students all know and love.  In the true spirit of their love of Dayton or maybe just coincidence, her maid of honor is the current Mayor of Dayton.

The main design was based on their style of art deco metropolitan feel and was accented by the color of a deep purple. The venue of the Schuster Center and Performing Arts Center was a perfect mix of contemporary yet still had a feel of the theater aspect. Their centerpieces featured vases of free standing purple flowers and also included photos of them at the age of the table number. So table 8 was photos of them at age 8 and so on. Their guest book was a large print from their wedding invitation and a mat with places for people to sign.  The guest gifts were pack of cards, and one table of college friends got into a serious betting card game. They mixed things up a bit and served no cake but instead did a Graeters ice cream bar.

This wedding and all its glory was featured on Midwest Bride blog.  GO UD FLYERS!!!
