Schwartzman Sisters

Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Photographs are possibly the best way to lessen the distance.

Stopping moments in time before they change into something new is what I live for.  These sisters have been raising their children to love their cousins and love their family.  Very soon they might be living a full days travel from each other, making visits more sparse.  Before their lives change, they decided to document the way life is now.  The crazy, the messy and the beautiful parts of it.

These are some creative sisters!  With their kids in tow they handmade large paper flowers and brought them into my studio.  Then we just let these tiny people play, and be free.

ANNA // ONE YEAR

Kids are amazing, aren’t they? They have such adventurous and fun loving spirits. Anna and her sisters are no exception. When it came time for Anna’s first birthday photo session I was beyond pumped.

Anna’s mom, Melissa, of Frosted brought in a beautiful cake for the girls to enjoy...and smash. It made for such gorgeous images. Her cakes are so yummy and also really pretty!

Now here’s where I get extra pumped (did I mention I was pumped, yet?) I set up what I’m calling Babcock Studio’s Dream Imagery…okay the name is pending…anyway, it's a crazy cinematic image.  The photos are taken in studio then edited by yours truly to be whatever we dream it to be. In Anna’s case, she sores off in to the sky in her hot air balloon with her sisters on her tail. I hope you enjoy the wonder and joy that is Anna’s first birthday session as much as I did.

Jane Tanitha // Newborn

I met Sarah more than 7 years ago now, she is one of my favorite people on this planet.  We have photographed weddings together, traveled and so many other things.  When she found out that she was pregnant, I couldn't have been more happy for her!  So I immediately got excited to photograph this little lady when she arrived!

Since I had a little boy, I didn't get to do anything super girly for his newborn photos.  I went girly crazy with Jane and got her a unicorn bonnet, made her a gold body suit and created a soft cloud like backdrop just for her photos <3   I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

Tara Maternity

In the studio today was Tara and her two children!  It was like a little tornado entered the room, but we managed to get a few shots with the two little ones together!
